Congrès du Réseau canadien des subventionneurs en environnement, du 26 au 28 mai à Toronto
The Canadian Environmental Grantmakers' Network (CEGN) is holding its annual conference in Toronto from May 26th-28th. This year's theme is "The Power of Partnerships" and the conference program reflects the premise that, increasingly, partnerships - of different hues, stripes and configurations - will be essential for arriving at real and lasting solutions for the environment. Conference highlights include a special evening event at the Royal Ontario Museum with a presentation by Janine Benyus on "What Would Nature Do? Biomimicry as a Path to Sustainability"; a satellite workshop for Water Funders; a session on Ontario's new Green Energy Act - widely regarded as landmark legislation for North America; and a focus on partnerships that are helping to power the protection of Canada's boreal forest. The conference is open to all grantmakers. Click here for more information and registration information.
