A note of thanks

To all of our old friends and new acquaintances, our sincere thanks for making CFC Conference 2008 such a success. Your participation helped turn our event into an exciting and inspiring opportunity to not only learn and share, but to dream and plan for the future.

To our neighbours from the United States and our numerous international guests, your presence made this event particularly special.

We also send out special thanks to our spectacular plenary speakers. John Ralston Saul and Akwasi Adoo, who profoundly challenged our notions of two very different nations. Sandra Hernandez, who encouraged us to be bold. Sheila Watt-Cloutier, who helped us reconnect with the Earth and our impact on its health and wellbeing; and our 'next generation' panellists, who showed us what community means for them and gave us a glimpse of the future.

We wish you all the very best and hope to see you again in Vancouver in 2011.
